These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the upnext? mobile application ("App"), operated by Maisam Ali ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use upnext?. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are between 13 and 17, you confirm that your parent or guardian is aware of your use of the App.
To access most features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
You may not create an account on behalf of another person, impersonate any person, or use a handle that is offensive, misleading, or violates another's rights.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
upnext? is a student productivity app that provides:

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. We will notify you of material changes where reasonably possible.
The timetable scanning feature uses Google's Gemini AI to extract class information from photos you take. By using this feature:
You retain ownership of all content you create in the App (class schedules, tasks, profile information). By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display that content solely to provide the App's services to you.

We are not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party services.
All rights, title, and interest in and to the App — including its design, code, graphics, and name — are owned by Maisam Ali. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, logos, or brand features.
The "upnext?" name and logo are not to be used without our prior written permission.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
You use the App at your own risk. We are not responsible for missed classes or tasks arising from inaccurate schedule data or missed notifications.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Maisam Ali shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for a free app, is zero).
By you: You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account from Profile → Delete Account. Deleting your account permanently removes your data from our servers within 30 days.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we discontinue the App. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.
Upon termination, your licence to use the App ends immediately. Sections covering intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via an in-app notification or other reasonable means before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
If you are an EU/UK resident, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law.
